Manual Chair

Transport Wheelchairs

Transport wheelchairs, or companion chairs, are used by a companion to help get your loved one to and from appointments or go on an outing. They have four smaller wheels, are built for indoor and outdoor use and they are super lightweight to carry and setup -some weighing as low as 14.5 lbs. 

Manual Wheelchairs

Manual Wheelchairs have two large wheels where a user can self-propel using hand-rims. They come in 5 general categories to suite your needs:

  • Standard Wheelchairs - These are your basic economy wheelchairs, the are good for indoor/outdoor use and light commercial use. However, they are heavy which is an important factor when considering the user will have to push that weight or lift it into a vehicle for transport. 
  • Lightweight Wheelchairs - Made from lighter materials, these wheelchairs resemble their standard-type cousins. Generally, these chairs have better wheels and bearings, plus the lower weight, that make more efficient to self-propel or push by companion.
  • Reclining Back Wheelchairs - Reclining wheelchairs, as the name implies, allow the seated users to recline in their chair. Reclining wheelchairs allow the user to be placed in a more comfortable position. They tilt to nearly a full recline. 
  • Heavy Duty Wheelchairs - Heavy duty wheelchairs are built specifically for users that need a wider seat and higher weight capacity. Heavy duty wheelchairs may accommodate users up to 700 lbs. and with seat widths up to 30".

Hospital Beds

Hospital Beds come in many styles and comfort levels. They may also be known as Home Care Beds. 


Many people have special needs that require something more than a regular bed. People usually rent or purchase hospital beds for home use for sick, aging, or disabled family members. They are referred to as hospital beds because they have all the features of the beds found in a medical facility. Hospitals beds provide the same comfort right at home to those who need more than a traditional bed.


Level 3 Premium Hospital Beds for your home


These beds have become popular in recent years because of the adjustment options they offer. Whether the patient is paralyzed, has mobility issues, is injured, or in therapy, the Trendelenburg bed offers the highest number of adjustment options. Besides adjusting only the height and the foot of the bed, different parts of the bed can be individually adjusted to the maximum level. For instance, the foot can be inclined to the highest level to resemble a recliner chair, and also allow zero-gravity features with the head lower than the feet. When patients use these beds, there is no need for special pillows. However, the bed also requires a greater space and needs to be put in a larger room. Among hospital beds, the Trendelenburg beds have the maximum functionality, adjustability, and fully electric features, the reason why they are also the most expensive type of hospital bed.
